Sagarika Ghatge (born 8 January 1986) is an actress known for playing the role of Preeti Sabarwal in the sports-oriented movie Chak De India, starring Shahrukh Khan. Sagarika is the daughter of Vijayendra Ghatge, a Hindi film actor. She was born in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, and went to Chatrapati Shahu School in Kolhapur until 8th grade. She completed her 10th and 12th grades at Mayo College, Ajmer, Rajasthan and her graduation from HR college, Mumbai. She used to play hockey in her college time.

She got many offers to act in ad films while she was studying in college but her father strictly refused her to undertake them, till she completed her graduation. She used to bunk classes while she was doing graduation and use to take hukka and coffee in Churchgate Mocha. She still loves doing roadside shopping in the Colaba area.

Her character Preeti Sabarwal in the movie is a centre-forward striker. She plays the captain of the Chandigarh Womens' Hockey team. She emerges as the highest scorer in the Women's World Cup Hockey Tournament.
